Awe Walks

March 24, 2022

We know it’s been a tough year and although things are looking up—there is some light peeking through—we are still experiencing stress and sadness that is often hard to handle.  You’ve probably tried more than a few things over the past 12 months to help manage all of it but Inc. is sharing an easy practice that can increase positive emotions: Awe Walks.

One 15-minute walk a week. Nothing revolutionary in that but there is one addition to this straightforward task and that is awe.  During your walk you are asked to find wonder in the ordinary and take the time to notice everyday beauty. This simple act, once a week, was shown boost joy and diminish stress.  Try it out; it could be awe-some.
