Bike Boom

March 24, 2022

Over the last year we all found ways, the safest ways we could, to get out of the house.  We weren’t alone.  There was a big demand for bicycles—so big that supply couldn’t keep pace. Every kind of bike saw a spike in sales: kids, cruisers, stationary, mountain, fitness. Outside Magazine recently wrote about these surges in sales and one of the most interesting things they found was the trend is expected to endure.

The joys and benefits of riding are hard to deny for both newbies and those returning to it. As well, some are even discovering the advantages of bikes as transportation. Let’s hope these new healthy habits—for riders and even the planet—do continue and show us a silver lining from the trials of the last year. Gear up with some Renewed Pearl iZUMi and keep on riding!
