Follow the Flock

March 24, 2022

Seeing a flock of birds soaring through the sky brings about a certain calmness and also a sense of wonder.  It's fascinating to think about the miles that they cover each migratory season.  Although the Fall will be different for us this year, the birds pattern will remain relatively unchanged. The decreasing hours of light and cooler temperatures will provide a signal that it's time to travel south.  That consistent behavior is something that is nice to ponder right about now.

If you are looking for a new and tranquil distraction, you may want to explore the resources and apps mentioned in this TreeHugger article. You can find out which birds migrate through your area so the next time you see a flock overhead you can follow their continuing migration as well as experience that peaceful feeling.
