We are at the last stage of the Renewal Process for home goods! At its core, the process as a whole is very much the same as apparel Renewal but, as they say, the devil is in the details. When we enter into a new partnership—especially a partnership with a brand that creates products new to our workshop like home goods—there are many small differences to acknowledge. Thankfully our team is incredibly committed to the process and the reason we do this work!
As we have mentioned before when talking about the Renewal process, there is a good deal of behind-the-scenes magic that our warehouse and technical team do in order to ensure this final stage. It takes a village (or a workshop)! When items have completed the first five stages of the Renewal process, they are entered—along with product features and materials as well as product photos—into an online platform to be available for browsing and shopping. Each product is also carefully catalogued and organized so items can be easily retrieved and shipped quickly.
When you receive the email confirming your order, our packing and shipping department is prompted to locate the renewed home good you have chosen and prepare it for shipping using environmentally friendly packing materials and methods. Once you receive your shipment, we want to know that you are happy with it because our whole job is to keep things in use. A couple days after you get your order, we send you an email asking if you like it and to share a review of it so other customers can understand the Renewed experience directly from someone who had it. This is also a time to evaluate whether or not the item is the right fit for you in terms of color, style, and size. If it doesn't work for you, our customer service team is ready to help.
