Our Growth Continues
The Renewal Workshop started with five brand partners in 2016. Over the past four years we have steadily built partnerships with apparel and textile industry brands committed to the health of the planet. In addition to the increased depth of our partnerships, we have also grown the size of our staff and warehouses. Along the way, we have expanded our understanding of the needs of our partners. Adapting to new information and changes within the industry have helped us to keep growing.
We have learned a great deal from you, the Renewed consumer. Through our customer survey last year, as well as your product reviews and feedback, we learned how important it is to offer the most information we can about each product to allow you to make informed purchases.
To that end we are currently in the process of refreshing our website. Aligned with our Value of Sensibility (looking for simple solutions to complex problems), we aim to make your shopping experience more efficient while offering consistent and valued product data. We hope you will visit us to see the changes and new features we will be adding over the next few weeks.
Although 2020 has not been the year we expected—for anybody—it has offered a unique opportunity for us to learn more and for apparel and textile brands to see Renewed in a new light. With supply chains and retail sales disrupted, there has been a realization that the Renewed model can help regain value from what has already been created. In the last half of this year, we are so excited that we will welcome three more large brands and two boutique brands into our family.
As we look toward the next five years and indeed to the future of the apparel and textile industry, we hope you will be able to shop for all your favorite brands in two ways, both new and Renewed. In the meantime, keep checking in with us to see what we have learned and who has joined us!
