Outdoorists Unite!
We need your voice! It only takes two minutes to make a change that can last forever. Here's more from our friends at The Outdoor Industry Association:
"The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) has been one of the most important conservation programs in our nation’s history providing billions in funding to protect and expand recreational access to our land and water, including projects in every county in the United States. Sadly, Congress allowed LWCF to expire on September 30, 2018.
The Senate’s revival of LWCF came in a monumental legislative package – S. 47, the Natural Resources Management Act. This legislation also establishes the Every Kid Outdoors Program giving every fourth grader in the country free access to America’s public land and waters, the 21st Century Conservation Corps, providing volunteer opportunities and programs for our veterans and America’s youth to conserve and rebuild natural resources and provides enhancement to our outdoor recreation infrastructure.
This public land legislative package now moves to the U.S. House of Representatives for consideration. We need your help to get it across the finish line!"
