Renewal Process: Happily Received
The Renewal process gives products a new life. As we have described over the last few months, items are cleaned, repaired, certified, co-branded, and scored. This care and effort is given so that the final stage of the process can be achieved; the product can be happily received and used by the Renewed customer.
As you might imagine, there is a good deal of behind-the-scenes magic that our warehouse and technical staff do in order to ensure this final stage. It takes a village (or a workshop)! When items have completed the first five stages of the Renewal process, they are entered—along with product features and materials as well as product photos—into our online platform to be available for browsing and shopping. Each product is also carefully catalogued and organized so items can be easily retrieved and shipped quickly.
When you receive the email confirming your order, our packing and shipping department is prompted to locate the renewed product you have chosen and prepare it for shipping using environmentally friendly packing materials and methods. Once you receive your shipment, we want to know that you are happy with it because our whole job is to keep things in use so if it doesn't work for you, our customer service team is ready to help. If you do love it, there's the chance to write a review so others can build trust in the renewed model.
A circular system restores and regenerates products keeping them in use longer and ensures products can be used again and again, never ending up as waste. That circle isn't fully closed without you. We hope you will continue to enjoy your renewed items, share your experiences with renewed, and together we can make the planet healthier.
