Summer always holds many promises: a summer reading list, outdoor adventures and beach trips, large projects that have been delayed during the pace of a regular schedule. These possibilities of summer tend to be grand in scale. However, the big things can overwhelm and seem too difficult so seldom even begin. It’s the small things done that are more essential. Since success can be felt in these small feats, these micro victories, they are more likely to become good habits and therefore will lead to more substantial shifts.
At The Renewal Workshop we make small changes—repairs actually—to the apparel that comes through our factory and goes on to have a second life with you. We thrive in these small successes and are grateful for your part in it. And we hope with your help and the help of our partners, that we will generate a big change in the apparel industry.
We also hope that you will still seek out the promises of summer as it nears its close. Here are few small ways to find enjoyment and relaxation in the last days of summer!
