Tips to Support your Teacher

March 24, 2022

Everything is different this school year and we are all doing what we can to make it work. HuffPo recently published a list of seven things you can do to support your kids’ teacher.  Take a moment to read through it; as you do, you might be struck with the realization that these recommendations are incredibly useful in helping to create a successful educational environment.

In addition, you might also see how these suggestions could—and probably should—be applied to most every shared encounter or relationship.  Would practicing patience be helpful during your next visit to the grocery store? Could communicating with kindness be useful as you negotiate the shared space that is your home? Would expressing your gratitude make your postal worker’s day a little brighter?  The answer is clearly yes.

Let’s all learn these lessons now so we know how to support each other.  They are invaluable skills and they will be on the test.
