We Miss Meetings?

Many of us have been working from home for the past few months.  Before the pandemic, it might have seemed like the ideal work situation: no commute, no need for wearing shoes or real pants, and no endless schedule of meetings.  But working from home has come with its own challenges such as feeling of isolated and getting distracted more often. 

In fact, there is a recent poll shown in this Treehugger article that tells us most of the people polled want to go back to the office. The top three reason listed were: meetings with colleagues, socializing with people, and face to face interactions. So when we figure out how we can get back to safely working in the same space with others, let’s take what we learned from our time at home and appreciate those meetings—and the free donuts—a little more.
