Writing a Thank You Note
It can be difficult to get your thoughts down on paper, especially when you have become accustomed to texts or likes or emails to express yourself. Now might be the perfect time to get re-acquainted with the skill of writing a thank you note.
It has been a tough and incredibly long year but if you think about all the folks who have helped you get through this thing, you will be reminded of the good bits. Notes don't have to be long or complicated, that's the beauty of them. Think about the last person who made you laugh or the friend who brought you groceries, now grab a pen and a piece of paper (bonus for using recycled!) and just say thanks. You'll be surprised at how good the process makes you feel.
Here's a great resource on how to write a great thank you note and experience the low tech benefits of the joy of gratitude.
